Photos on the Mason-Dixon Line

Today we were busy taking advantage of the sunshine capturing some real estate photos. One of our stops was here on the Mason-Dixon Line where we captured this aerial image captured above MD facing North into PA. Here is where the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail in MD connects to the York County Heritage Rail Trail in PA. The Maryland trail takes you 20 miles south through some beautiful nature preserves towards Cockeysville. The PA trail takes you North almost 30 miles ending in Manchester, PA. Both trails follow the historic Northern Central Railway corridor where it connected Baltimore to Harrisburg until a part was washed out in a hurricane in 1972. Built in the 1800s, it was used to supply Northern troops during the Civil War as they headed South.
