Columbia Crossing Google Tour
We are very pleased to bring you this large tour of a great new outdoor experience located along the Eastern banks of the Susquehanna River. The Columbia Crossing River Trails Center was just completed this year and is now open to the public. Theres a very nice visitors center full of helpful local and historical information. There are staff to answer questions, nice bathrooms and a picnic pavilion. Theres plenty of parking with a boat launch and a kayak launch. You can rent kayaks from the local outfitter there or take your bike up to the River Trail and ride on a nice bike path all the way to Marietta and beyond. Something we were able to help with was add virtual signs showing the way to access the River Trail from the center. This park is part of the National Parks' Captain John Smith Trail.
